With the frame completed last Thursday, the team feel that a lot of work was accomplished. To name a few, we nailed in our first sheet of plywood which was bended over the arch, started building the frame for the front of the submarine, constructed the conning tower that will be in the center of the submarine and lastly we used a battery drill with a hole saw attachment on the arches so that we can thread the PVC pipes through. These two aspects will surely provide the submarine with a more immersive feel. We made up the shape of the conning tower by drawing an eclipse measuring our major axis at 1200mm and the minor being 600mm, with this we now had the measuring points and connected each point which was used as a guideline to finally sketch our eclipse.
